Vanda International Arts Festival
The Singapore Vanda International Arts Festival celebrates the beauty of dance, uniting top global dancers to foster cultural exchange and artistic growth. Dance, as an expression of thought and emotion, holds unique artistic value and impact. This festival serves as a global platform where participants showcase talent, exchange ideas, and pursue artistic excellence.
As a multicultural hub, Singapore provides the perfect stage for this international event, offering diverse artistic showcases and immersive cultural experiences. Organized by Hong lei International Culture and Performing Arts Pte Ltd, a leader in international dance education and cultural exchange, the festival aims to connect global artists, promote dance development, and highlight Singapore’s rich cultural identity.
Organizer Introduction
Hong Lei International Culture and Performing Arts Pte Ltd was founded in January 2007 by renowned Chinese dancers and educators Zhou Lei (Chairman) and Ding Hong (Artistic Director). Since 1995, they have been deeply involved in Singapore’s dance education and choreography, training numerous talented dancers and producing large-scale dance performances. Their contributions have enriched local dance culture and earned invitations to various Singaporean arts festivals.
Committed to international cultural exchange, the company has led Singaporean students to participate in competitions and exchanges across China, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, and Australia, achieving outstanding results. In 2008, it successfully hosted Guangdong Opera and Dance Drama Theatre’s special performance Rhythm of Yuehai. In 2019, it launched the Vanda International Arts Festival & Dance Competition, which has since become a key platform for global dance exchange, successfully hosting three editions to date.
